I'm stealing this idea from Katie.
January
I registered for my first real triathlon.
February
I finished planning my wedding, had a surprise wedding shower with friends and family, and celebrated my bachelorette weekend at the beach with my best girls.
March
I got married! (and never recapped the reception). Then we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon.
April
I ran a 10k race. The same one I have run every year since 2007.
May
I ran a 5 miler and crushed the last mile. I also half-assedly trained for my triathlon.
June
I completed my first real triathlon and had a blast! Considering adding one to my 2013 calendar. We also got a new puppy!! We love her and she fits into our family really well.
July
We had a major storm called a derecho on June 30th and the first week or so of July was spent recovering. Luckily we didn't lose power at my house. I also swam more laps than I ever have before.
August
I went to the beach with my sister-in-laws. Then went to Wildwood and ran a half marathon at the end of the month. It was humid and hot and I didn't meet my goal but it was a good race.
September
I took pictures of butterflies at a local park. I biked and ran on a few trails.
October
I took pictures of pretty trees along the lake. I ran a 15k with my mom. Ran the Baltimore Half Marathon and PRed!! Took the puppies to a vineyard in their Halloween costumes.
November
I ran an 8k trail race. Took the girls up to my parent's house to celebrate Thanksgiving. We also ordered new appliances and I ran two 5k races with a 10 yr old.
December
I went to the Botanical Gardens in DC to take pictures. Finally got my new appliances installed! I also celebrated Christmas with my family and my husband's family. I have a couple posts in mind for that but they likely won't happen until next week.
Tonight we are celebrating new year's eve at home with close friends and family. I hope everyone has fun and stays safe this evening. What are your NYE plans?
